My verdict: 

The title 'The ICU' indicates that the story is at the place of ICU or anything related to ICU. The cover is simple yet meaningful,  it shows Heartbeats in ECG. The ICU is a beautiful story with some real life tales or you can say fiction taken from reality. Family members wait outside the ICU room and waiting for recovery of the patient. Will he be ok? Birth and death are not in our hand, we can just hope for the good. 

The story and the emotions in the story are right on point. It will make up a fine short read. Narration of the novel is also impressive our author has used simple and easy language. Kudos to the author for such a beautifully portrayed story.
