About the book:

Every life is an interesting story, and this story is best written when people go through life's experiences by staying connected to who they truly are. To stay connected to yourself, you need first to start listening from within.
This book gives a perspective on why we think, feel and act the way we do, through concepts from neuroscience and psychology. It attempts to answer some of life's key questions, such as-
-Why do we all perceive things differently?
-Why are we designed to do different things?
-Why do we all learn things in different ways?
-How are habits formed?
-What role do emotions play in our lives?
-What makes us happy?
And finally, what it means and takes to stay connected to ourselves and others.

My verdict:

This book by Vishal Jacob is self realization self help inspirational book. The book deals with various fields - psychology, neuroscience and indeed philosophy to give a complete holistic view to ourselves as people and in relation to others.
This book contains the core factors about how our brain works, its influence over our activities and reaction. The book is divided into 10 parts of ones life such as perspective, intelligence, learning etc.
The book is easy to read and is written with purpose. The book draws from a broad collection of other works and personal experiences. The author does a fantastic job of interweaving his personal narrative with the 100's of scientific studies . The best way to read this book is to read one or two chapters per day slowly. The title of the book is engaging and so is the cover.  This book deals with concepts like Human perceptions, Why we are designed to excel at different things, why are we suited to learning in different ways, habits and the reason why it's hard to change them.  Language of the book is lucid and simple enough. A good read for psychological knowledge.
