About the author:
Neha Sharma, author of Wedding Pickle, has an unabashed passion towards writing, this passion stems from the fact that she is an avid reader. Neha hails from Bangalore, the garden city of India and was born in New Delhi. She is a defence kid having travelled nearly the whole of India. She holds a master’s degree in HR and International Business. Neha moved to Norway in 2010 after her wedding and has been there since. She is a mother to a three-year-old. She loves to sit for hours weaving stories about people from different walks of life. She loves to give life to different characters and tell stories to people that can bring out a message or just touch their hearts. Her friends call her a day dreamer as she likes being lost in her own world of imagination where nearly everything seems possible.
Blurb:
Avni is an independent, fun loving girl who loves the idea of being in love and having a happy ever after, only she knows this idea is too good to be true in this world, true love is nothing but a farce. Embroiled in her fears, doubts and her haunting past, does she get past her reluctance toward marriage? Does she find someone she can have a happy ever after with? Or does she actually prove her own point that true love is nothing but a farce in today’s world.
My verdict:
Avni, a 24 year old girl is not yet ready for marriage. She is an introvert and is happy in here small circle of family and friends. That’s why marriage seems a hazardous to her. When she meets Siddharth and when he ask her what ring she wants. Diamond of course, was her reply. But then Siddharth cheats of her and breaks her trust on himself and love. Then in her life Ansh enters and now she is not able to trust him.
The title is quite suggestive. The pace of narration is good and character development is appreciable. Language is simple. Some grammatical errors at few places need correction.
cover is simple and beautiful .
Allover a nice read.
