Cover page analysis:

In the ordinary cover page, there is extraordinary concept. The cover page shows just a human brain and reflecting rays from it. I think the cover is chosen in this method , as our brain is so complex and hard to understand it. And the rays from the brain signifies that this little brain is center of everything. I really like the cover page. It will fix your mind towards the content.

Title analysis:

The title Autopilot is also appreciable.  Actually Autopilot means, doing something without thinking about it or without making an effort. And according to psychology our brain works as an Autopilot.

Blurb:

Andrew Smart wants you to sit and do nothing much more often- and he has the science to explain why.
At every turn , we are pushed to do more faster, more efficiently: that drumbeat resounds throughout our wage-slave society. Multitasking is not only a virtue, it's necessity. But Autopilot argues that slackers may have the last laugh. It makes a compelling case- backed by science-  that filling the life with activity at work and at home actually hurts your brain.

Autopilot is witty, informative, and wide-ranging book that draws on the most recent research into brain power.  Use it to explain to bosses, family, and friends why you need to relax- right now.

My Verdict :

Autopilot written by Andrew smart is that book , which i was searching for so many years. I love psychology too much. And I'm a student of mathematics. And this book gives relation between mathematics and psychology. And i really like this style. This book gives so many real life examples. There are much more graphical representations,  that helps more for understanding the facts. I also like the writing style & language. His research works can change the science of psychology and it's so interesting. If you start reading this book , you can't put it down. It's so fascinating. Allover as a book of psychology this is one of the best and worth recommendable. For today's busy world, this is the best book.
