'Kansa' is the first book in trilogy series by Prassant Kevin. The name 'Kansa' indicates that, in this story there is some thriller , mystery and crime as we know 'Kansa' from Hindu religious story. The cover of the book is catchy. It's filled with brown and dark colours. Which sets the reader's mind to thrills.

And the man in hood tells us that there are lots of mysterious things and peoples. 

The story begins with a girl, Maher, who was found unconscious in the middle of the highway . Later, in the hospital, she revealed that she had escaped from the killer's house Kansa, the evil incarnation psychopath serial killer. Over a span of ten years, he killed forty pregnant women. Then vanished without a trace. And after five years of silence, he is back again. Its shocked the nation. 

ACP Saargi Desai was assigned to the case. But she knew that police can't catch him. There's need someone else. Someone, who is evil like Kansa, who is desperate like Kansa , and who can catch Kansa. And then the protagonist 'Professor Black' came in light. Professor, who had a romantic and that becomes haunting past that kept him away from the world for several years. 

And the game begins.......

The author keeps the suspense alive till the end of the story. There are thrills, suspense, mystery, amazement and unexpected twists & turns. I like the use of words and language. You will not find yourself getting bored at any point, this is the best thing of this book. There are many characters with their back stories. Every chapter has a significant role and it is like episodes of Hollywood TV shows. 

I've read so many thriller books but this one is great. There is no boring things. You can visualize the story in your mind and it will haunt you. The character 'Professor Black'. His tuff attitude will impress you. 

Thus I can say that it is the best thriller crime novel of this year. I'm waiting for it's two sequels. It will more interesting. 

As i read this i cab say that. Read this novel if you are a crime thriller novel lover.
