"Yatra Naryastu Pujyante,                                         Ramante tartar Devata"

This novel starts with the above Sanskrit saying.  Which means "God lives in places where women are worshiped".

Now from the very first title and this saying you've understand that, this is a novel that fully dedicated to women. And specially the 'Indian Women'.

"Different shades of women" is a collection of eight stories and it has also a introduction part, which i think is the best ornament of this book. Our author believes that inspite of few violent aberrations against woman, like rape, murder or anything that kind of, there is the invisible hands of Indian women which guide Indian society.

Eight stories says about different lifestyles of different women and their relationship, love & affection, sacrifice, secrets and much more. They're like every normal girls in India. And they represent Indian women, as well as their culture, tradition and etc.

I think in these days Indian society needs this types of stories .  We are all human, not burden. Keeping this mind we have to live. We have to fight with the invisible black powers. The characters like Aparna, Doctor sister Mercy, Bano and nirmala Anu and Archana Savitri, parvati, fatima, and allamelu and lakashami represents a lot of things.

Thus i can say that this book is a worth reading book.

Paper quality and printing quality is good. Cover design is catchy. The cover displays 'different shades of women' and i like that.
My overall rating for this book: 4.8/5
